In March 2023, Micah Minter acquired Thoreau, an AI-driven writing assistant, from Kyle Baskin. What started as a writing tool is evolving into a virtual world called EbonX.

EbonX is an American technology company focusing on sustainability, eCommerce, and artificial intelligence.

Our Mission is to be the #1 virtual world consumers visit for personalized, phygital shopping experiences. EbonX will be an experiential marketplace for shoppers, a platform for SMBs to have more impactful interactions with consumers, and a channel for enterprise brands to uplift community builders.
